Any Live portuguese songs with Nelly ???
Any Live portuguese songs with Nelly ???
I`ve heard she has only 2 portuguese songs on "Folklore",so did she ever sang them live in concert ??? And if yes,can somebody send it to me ??? I like these kinds of songs,can`t wait for the next spanish/portuguese CD  bye bluerose

Well, She sings some songs in portuguese on the stage. From Folklore, she sings Explode (the frist four words are in Portuguese - Penso, Joga, Jinga, Roda), she sings Fresh Off The Boat (one verse is - Querida Menina à Beira do mar vai num barco branco e vai, vai, vai). She doesn't sing Island of Wonder featuring Caetano Veloso because the song is too much personal to be sung live. From Whoa Nelly!, she sings frequently Onde Estás (completly in Portuguese). She also sings Scared of You (half in english, half in Portuguese) and when she sings Party acustic version she also sings in portuguese some verses. I will make you cry has too six or seven words in portuguese (Chuva, chuvinhão, vem, vem, vem cá, rapaz).
As you must know, Loose doesn't have any portuguese song or any portuguese music influence. Anyway, she promisses a Portuguese version of All Good Things come to an end and Te Busqué. curiosity: Nelly sings, in Portugal, the song "haja o que houver" from MadreDeus and "Tás na boa!" from Da Weasel (the ones she has already colaborated). She also sings a song from Caetano Veloso, (I don't know now the name, I think it is Terra or somethings, the lyrics are something like this: Os teus beijos são fantasticos) in the song Party. |
