they're all imaginary but you believe them and towards yourself you feel no affection
no one can tell you you're already perfect and beautiful
you won't ever accept them but it's the truth that you're so wonderful
all the late nights that we spend together in silence and tears
as you break away from the word of perfection I feel you near
your soul an open wound that'll never heal
I see into the woman that sets apart from the stereotype of perfect as your heart peels
she's the most beautiful person I've ever known
crying out for help through the sadness she's found hard to be shown
and love is something you strive to find in someone you really cares
but you don't know that these feelings for you from my heart are so strong and bare
so tonight just let me hold you and kiss all your pain away
share this love between us and pray for better days
