Delta Goodrem - In This Life "New Single"

According to Wikipedia:
"In This Life" is the first single of Australian pop singer Delta Goodrem from her new upcoming untitled third album.The song was written by Goodrem, Brian McFadden, Stuart Crichton and Tommy Lee James. The producer of the song is John Shanks (Take That, Bon Jovi, Ashlee Simpson). According to an article in the Herald Sun the song is "..... a more guitar-driven vibe and updates Goodrem's sound."
The song was released on Australian radio on August 28, 2007 and on September 15, 2007 it will have its physical release through CD and Digital Download. By its second day of radio release, the numerous videos of the song have been watched almost 4,000 times.

Background





According to Delta she wrote the song just after Christmas. Stuart Crichton co-wrote the song and wanted Delta to use her well known letter ending: "Love & Light" in a song. In the start of the chorus Delta sings:

You give me love,

You give me light

The song shows a more mature female. According to an article in The Daily Telegraph some lines are shown:

I have faltered, I have stumbled,

I have found my feet again, I've been angry

I've been shaken, Found a new place to begin

Goodrem told the newspaper that she needed to deal with personal demons and feelings first to be able to write a song like In This Life.
The full song leaked on youtube on August 26, but was quickly removed. On August 28, the song was aired for the first time on FOX FM after an interview with Goodrem. The full song can be found on Delta's official MySpace page

Music video

The video for the song was shot in LA on August 9, 2007. Director is not yet known. According to insiders the video shows the most sexiest Goodrem has made to date, with Goodrem having in several scenes a Brigitte Bardot look. Goodrem herself said about making the video; "It took me a second to get back into gear because I haven't made a video for so long, but it felt better than ever."
The video will premiere on August 31, 2007 on the tv program Sunrise.

Well.. I'm a big fan of Delta and her best work in my opinion was MISTAKEN IDENTITY album...... I really felt sorry for her new video that SUCKS.. She could do it better.. The song is not thaaat good... Well, I liked TAKE ME HOME.... She's more commercial now, I heard she wants to be part of American media... And she had to americanise her songs..... Well, I'll buy the album and see what's going on....

well, it's time for her to be famous in the US! i felt really bad when "Lost Without You" did nothing in the US...her new look will help her alot! she's hotter (REALLY!) and she's more grown up now! her single will be released in UK in 10th of october (YAAAAY!) and maybe later in the US...
