I can smell your burning skin
I can taste it as the pain seeps in
I will move up + I will move on
I will live my life for you, I will be strong

I'm still young, but I have to grow up
I know that love alone isn't enough
I shoulder all the guilt + all the blame
I carry it on my shoulders, I carry it in vain
You never gave me a chance to notice that it was gone
But I'm gonna carry on + I'll still sing our song

...Effortlessly traversing through the illusion of space..... your wonderful work in progress brought to mind a painful loss and a poem once read:

centre of centres, core of cores
almond self-enclosed & growing sweet-
all this universe, to the furthest stars
and beyond them, is your flesh, your fruit.

Now you feel how nothing clings to you;
your vast shell reaches into endless space,
and there the rich, thick fluids rise and flow.
