Photographs + razor blades, taunting me as time ticks by
These posters on my wall don't show me who I am anymore
I tell myself that I can change my life, but it's all a lie
Solutions swigged + swallowed everyday, gets me worse than before
I know it's selfish + careless, I know it's unkind
But I'm never gonna see the ones I leave behind

Peace can finally be found within a burnt out car
Flesh burnt to bone, tests reveal who you really are
Get told to sit down + get out of sight, I wasn't wanted there
You don't know that I heard the screams from the top of the stairs
You lied when you said you'd stay with me 'til the end of the road
You didn't think of me when you took away the only love I had ever known

But, time goes by + feelings fade
I wake up + I'm consumed again
All those memories of times when I was too scared to go home
Staying out all night, I didn't know the man who lived there, anymore
Locking doors + locking myself in
I know I'm gonna end just like him
