Okay two things inspired this topic:
1. I heard some songs recently that made say wow I wish I had heard them years ago...imagine if I NEVER heard them!
2. I was listening to Tool's album Lateralus, which is in my opinion, lyrically the best album ever. I just thought wow I bet some people have never heard some of these.

Sooo what to post:
1. Lyrics that you believe are some of the most amazing ever.
2. Lyrics that are sung with such passion that you look forward to that part of the song and repeatedly rewind to hear them.

Okay I would really like to make use of this topic and discover songs that I would otherwise never dream of listening to and what not so the guidelines are as follows:
1. No horrendous lyrics. Milkshake's lyrics are arguably funky to listen to and whatever but they're still ridiculous lol.
2. Please be VERY selective! If you post 28 songs there is no way anybody will buy or download them. If you have five then spread em out over time or something. One or two sounds good.
3. No original lyrics. This isn't being mean, it's just they go in the Creativity section, and people can't buy the song.
4. Don't post the entire song! Put a link to it if you want, but just select a line or a verse.

Okay sorry for all the rules lol but I'm anal about that sorta stuff and I wanna be able to delete crap people put up and have a reason haha and I'd like the topic to work well.

Okay well I'll start with the song that made me think of this. It's like in the top 5 of my favourite songs ever. It won a Grammy so I suggest giving it a chance! Hehe.

There are so many but as you said, it's not good to post a million at once . . . these are just lyrics that I think are really beautiful. It helps that I think the songs themselve are amazing--especially the chorus to the Shaki song, the first time I really realised what the lyrics were I thought they were just really . . . sweet.
