No they actually turn white when you burn them and your tongue sheds the skin very quickly. I've done it before. You can basically peel a layer off lols it isn't too pretty.
I looked it up for ya and found this: BLACK TONGUE This occurs occasionally. The upper surface of the tongue turns black or brown in colour, and in some cases the papillae elongate. This is an unsightly condition but not harmful. Therefore, I'd recommend you stop licking arse.
