Nelly and Avril Lavigne

Hi all.
I was wondering if anybody out there has ever heard of Nelly commenting on fellow young Canadian Avril Lavigne. or vice versa!!
Of course they vary somewhat both musically and with their attitude but also they are similar in some ways as they are both independant types who speak their minds and do not bend to dictates of the music industry.
I have often wondered about this - so has any one heard any comments either way?

Thanks for that! Not much has been said I gather. Bit surprising that AL hasn't had anything to say - she seems to pretty liberal with comments about other fellow artists. Cheers

I read an interview with Avril a while back + she said she thought Nelly's music was cool, but that was it, no in depth comments or anything

Avril Lavigne's music seems almost drowned out by her image. But that could just be how I see it...
