They built the house in 1997. I remember Pepsi did this promotion where they were giving away a life-size replica of the Simpsons' house. It looks a lot like the Simpsons' house on the inside, but I'm partial with the outside. And I like the pictures with the life-size dolls and cutouts of the Simpsons.

If they take the expense and the time to do a look-a-like house of the Simpson's they would have done it exactly the same, there are a lot of things different.
