The road she compromised part 4:the Ending
So there she looked at all the paths before her. She counted,. there were 5. actually, she thought 6. including the one behind the waterfall. It was the one that intrigued her most. She walked up to the waterfall, but couldn?t see a way to get to it. She looked at all the other paths..they all looked the same. So, why was this one different? She decided that this was the path she will take. Even if she had to swim to get to it. So, she went as close to thewaterfall as she could get with out falling in. she saw that there was an opening from the other side of the waterfall. So, she went around and saw that there were rocks sticking up out of the water, forming a walkway to the path. Carefully,with out slipping she made it to the hidden path. There?s a door she observed. She took the handle, tried pulling on it. It didn?t budge. She pulled it again. Still nothing. Her curiosity was coming at her. I really want to see where this goes.
She took the door handle, yanked it as hard as she could. it swang open which sent her falling on the ground. She got up from the hard fall, looked to what the doorway revealed. It looked dark, cold, creepy. For a second, she was scared, she felt the fear rise inside of her. But she knew she had to go in, if she wanted to see the ending of the path. She stepped in, it smelled musty. The side walls were brick. Old, musty,and full of moss..it reminded her of a hallway in a old deserted castle. I can't see..she thought. The pathway was getting darker. She started to get worried,feeling lost once more. Something was here, she could feel it. It wasn?t a bad feeling, yet, it wasn?t good. She felt her way along the wall for what felt the longest time. Fatigue swept over her, slowly her steps became slower, keep going she told herself. She felt the strangest bump on the wall, something she never felt before. So she looked, there she saw a mirror, her reflection was peering back at her. She looked exhausted, bags under her eyes, looked really worn out. She was just about to turn away when there she saw a shadow behind her. She gasped, whirled around, and there was nothing there. She felt fear again. She kept walking, feeling the wall in the darkness. She felt tears in her eyes, will she ever get out of here? it seems like she was always lost, always in the dark. Maybe something was telling her that she will die. She was out of all her energy. She stopped,sat on the stone cold ground put her knees up and laid her head down. I need to rest she thought. She closed her eyes, and dosed off.
She then awoke..wondering how long she had been there. She then got up, feeling cold, but refreshed. She started walking down the path again. Soon enough?there was some sort of glow. What is it? She got closer,and closer?she saw a lounge type area..all the paths before had met up to this point. But only one door.
She felt someone there. She turned around. ?Oh, it's you.? She smiled relieved, thinking it was something else. All her fear disappeared. ?Where does that door lead?? he stood there quietly. ?That door,? he said ?is your choice. Whatever you want it to be. But I will tell you, you only have 30 min. as you walk through that door. You will have the chance to say and experience and see the things you wish to see for 30 minutes. Then if all goes well, you get a choice between that life and the one you choose to let happen.? The girl was all confused. ?you know what to do.just have faith in yourself? with that, he left her. Went down the path she came from. I?m alone again she thought. She walked up to the door, but paused, thinking what to do. The after a minute she opened the door and walked through. She was blinded by the light..but then her eyes adjusted.
She saw a lot of people, ?miss!. She heard someone calling.?miss! miss! You are supposed to be on stage in a minute!? she turned around,?me?? the security guy laughed and gave her a queer look. He took her threw the crowd, people were pulling at her clothes and her body. He led her to the back of a stadium to the dressing rooms. ?miss, you are playing tonight. don't you remember?? she looked around the room. Saw pictures of herself playing a guitar live. Saw a beautiful blue guitar sitting on the floor. She stared in amazment. ?this is mine?? she exclaimed..?miss, I hope you didn?t hit your head, you have to play in front of twenty million people.? With that he left. This was her dream. She knew now. She wanted to be playing guitar in front of millions of people. She smiled. I can do this, I can live my dream. She was playing the guitar minutes later when the security guy came in and told her time was up.
They walked on stage. She felt in awe. She was waiting on stage for the curtain to rise, and she knew what song she wanted to play. The curtain came up, and she saw so many people, it took her breath away . This is it she thought, my moment of glory. She felt the beautiful music coming from the instrument. Everything was a dream..she loved it. Then moments the song was ended, and she felt exhilarated. She walked off stage..the crowd was screaming for more. She looked at the time..?5 more minutes miss? she looked, the security guy stared at her. ?5 more minutes miss? she knew what he was saying. Now it was time to bring her dream to a close.
She walked on stage again. Brought the microphone, the crowd hushed.? Hi! I hope you all liked my music, but I have to depart early. So I wanted to say this. Of what I experienced in my life, there is one thing I have learned. You have to learn to have faith in yourself, believe you can do anything. Never be afraid of what you can do. Most of all, don?t ever give up on yourself. ? she smiled.
she was about to walk off when she saw him. The guy in the cloak. He came over, took her in his arms, ?very well done miss.? She smiled..he kissed her lips softly..and she knew she fell for him then. She knew when she was on her self discovery, he never left her side. He encouraged her,helped when she needed it. As she was thinking all of this, and lost in the passion, she felt so happy, she had found who she was, where she belonged, and what kinda person she was. She opened her eyes to see herself standing back in the forest, with him by her side. She looked at him, and tears streamed down her face. He hugged her and all she could think of was she was how happy she was.
so, the nd. lol. ya..I really feel I think the girl was me..duh. anyway, I believe I am happy and will get to achieve my dreams. even though I may not be a rock star..lol!
