OK, the studio works of shakira aren't that great..:-( but I've seen her doing some kinda unplugged gig..yeah! that was pretty cool! Nevertheless I wouldn't buy a cd...

Before Nelly? Nelly doesn't replace anything!! She was just added to my favourite musicians.

Before Nelly (Furtado, that is), I used to listen to pretty much anything. Some of my favourite artists were the Spice Girls, The Offspring, and Britney ( yeah, I bought her first CD, and kinda had a thing for her at that time which was 1999, so don't hate me lol). I also used to listen to alternative rock before then (I still listen to it today as well as any genre of music).

My favourites are APC n Tool. Nelly replaced all the heavy stuff I guess. I used to listen to nothing but heavy stuff or alt rock. I spose I still do a bit, but she sorta gave me an open mind so now I listen to all sorts of stuff. My brother is still what I used to be so the comparison is funny haha. He is like omg WTF you have a Christina Aguilera album I'm like *gulp* meant to hide that when he's around.

Listened to stuff I still listen to Since my late childhood, I've heard to appreciate all different kinds of music. In middle school I just listened to whatever anyone else was listening to, so mainly top 40 radio, but then in secondary school I started digging deeper into the worlds of alternative rock, hip hop, punk rock and electronic music. I liked some stuff from other styles of music too, but those were the main genres. I still listen to those types of music, sometimes more of one category than another, and I can also appreciate a good pop song.
