I was thinking about the Nelly of Whoa, Nelly, and she was more... sweet and everything, so, I compared tho the Nelly of Folklore and I knew that I don't like her now, so...
I know that she's the same and more mature and everything, but, I miss the old nelly.

Although Nelly is Nelly, I felt the same way, her music is more real world now than fun/spunky.

Well her material has matured with emotional depth, but nelly is still fun loving and her colourful self even after all this time.

Even though she's changed, I still see Nelly as the same person that she was a few years ago. Not on the outside, but on the inside.

That's sad that ppl say they don't like her now...what's up with that? What did she do wrong? I don't have anything against Nelly (otherwise I wouldn't be at a fan site).....and I hate people who bitch about her new image. Who cares....just sit back and enjoy la musica

I agree. Music is music and Nelly's is shockingly honest and revitalising... besides... why be as shallow as to judge someone by their image without taking the time to meet them and delve into who they are. It's too easy to make assumptions.
