Who of u listens to soundtracks?

I'm currently listening to so many soundtracks from the movies i love. And I love "Spanglish" 's soundtracks by Hans Zimmer most. He is just so talented.

Besides, i really love the soundtracks from "Corpse Bride" by Danny Elfman, "Sex and Lucia" 's, "Volver" 's by Alberto Iglesias and "Music and Lyrics" 's by Hugh Grant (lol, i hadn't known this guy could sing). And well, because i'm a new soundtracks listener so i really wanna listen to more good ones. I hope u guys here will recommend me some . I really appreciate it.

Re: Who of u listens to soundtracks?

Growing up I enjoyed the Last Action Hero (still have it) and Singles soundtracks. Also the Faust s/t is good. But as a whole I'm not really a big fan of them.

Re: Who of u listens to soundtracks?

Ennio Morricone soundtracks. Once Upon A Time In America [this score was actually written befor ethe movie was filmed], Once Upon A Time In The West.

and the dude that did Taxi. You can just feel the character going down with it. "One day a rain will come and wash all the scum of the streets"

Amelie soundtrack, got to love it.

House of flying dagges is wicked.

Life Aquatic soundtrack is pure genius. You got live Seu Jorge against some kind of Akai midi computer.

Lost In Translation soundtrack is straight dreamy.

Broken Flowers soundtrack takes you away into the Ethiopian jazz

The Apocalypse Now soundtrack, one of my favorites, will hunt you in your dreams.

Re: Who of u listens to soundtracks?

I like to listen to soundtracks, I do it often when I've seen a new movie I liked. I love the tracks from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and The Pirates tracks are so lovely, I love "Davy Jones" by Hans Zimmer! haha... I don't know that many soundtracks, mostly those from HP and Eragon...

Re: Who of u listens to soundtracks?

cutdamn,

I forgot all about the Donnie Darko Soundtrack & Score. Soundtrack takes you so back to the 80s, while the score will accompany you in the story of Donnie.

Oyeah, Fear & Loathing. But then again you got to love the period of the 60's. White Rabbit!!!!

The score... I've always wanted to have that album. And the remake of Tears For Fears's Mad World they did for this movie is just absolute genious. They also used this song for the Gears of War ads, isn't this the most haunting thing you've ever seen?

If you want some amazing instrumental music, chek these ones out:

Gattaca
Great Expectations (both score and soundtrack are beyond words)
Disney's Atlantis The Lost Empire
The Lion, the With and the Wardrobe
HBO's CarnivÃ*le
The Talented Mr. Ripley

And for great music, the Grey's Anatomy soundtracks are the coolest.

Re: Who of u listens to soundtracks?

I love the soundtrack of Pirates of the Caribbean and The Devil Wears Prada

But the soundtrack of 28 Weeks Later is one of the most effective I've heard. When you watch the movie, the emotions of the characters get heavily accentuated.
